Cortona On The Move – fotografia in viaggio was founded in 2011 based on the inspiration of ONTHEMOVE Cultural Association. The aim is to bring world-class contemporary photography to Cortona, to celebrate great masters of the art and to showcase historical photographic archives. Right from the very first edition of the festival the work of some of the world’s top photographers was exhibited in Cortona, immediately attracting the attention of professionals in the field thanks to the festival’s pronounced international perspective.
