Jason Hendrik Hansma

Jason Hendrik Hansma (b. 1988, PK) completed his Masters of Fine Arts at the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Working in a variety of mediums that range from film and objects to text and photography, his works raise questions that explore the complexities of time, history, memory and nature, along with our own attempts to grasp these ever-shifting phenomena. His works often contain various elements that function, when brought together, as a network of thoughts and conversations held between a multiplicity of agents.

Recent exhibitions, performances, readings and screenings have been included in Rupert Vilnius, Contemporary Art Centre Vilnius, Tent Rotterdam, De Appel Amsterdam, Irmavep Club Paris, Centre international d’art et du paysage de l’île de Vassivière and the Centre Georges Pompidou Paris.
