The photography of the artists presented, sometimes labelled boring, records certain ordinary places and events. The task of the exhibition is to determine a specific area for activity, located on the edges of new document and operating as reference and free interpretation of the principles of the New Topographers movement: peculiar esthetics, concentration on space, use of objective imaging, stability – however, all these measures are used to create a narrative in the form of a peripheral perspective on much larger issues.
The exhibition is related to the activity of the Azimuth Press collective and the Normalism publication series.
