Filip Ćwik presents his book “12 twarzy/faces”.

“12 twarzy” [“Twelve faces”] is a story told from the inside of the camp for Syrian refugees. At an improvised atelier, Ćwik took photos of victims of the Bashar al-Assad’s regime. The images of twelve faces portrayed in the summer of 2012 stay engraved in the memory for a long time. It is a story about war, crimes of the regime, fear and, first of all, about dignity, strength and inextinguishable hope. The photographer himself will tell about the behind the scenes of putting the book together.
