„23 Years of Łódź through the Lens of Gazeta Wyborcza Photographers” is the title of an exhibition which shows how the city of Łódź has changed over nearly three last decades. Łódź-based press photographers not only witnessed events that proved most important to the course of modern history of the city but they also captured little and quiet moments of everyday life. The photographs show places that no longer exist, streets that have undergone a huge transformation, or occupations long forgotten. The photos to be exhibited constitute a very special chronicle of Łódź and capture the specific atmosphere of the city that has been changing before our eyes.
