“Black Sea of Concrete” is a story about places where sounds of the past can be still heard. The compilation of eastern landscapes and portraits of Ukrainians is an expression of longing for something distant that is happening against a surrealistic, grey and bland background. A few years has passed since the Orange Revolution but Ukraine is not making a step forward. It stands still. It waits. But is there anything to wait for?
During the meeting, Rafał Milach will present an album with pictures taken during this extraordinary trip to the East. He will tell about the process of documenting these places and what he really was feeling while looking at the “Black Sea of Concrete” through his eyes of an artist photographer.
Meeting will be held in Polish.
