“Stand by” is the outcome of work of seven photographers travelling to the farthest corners of Belarus. Different personalities with different sensitivity and character, were discovering, step by step, what in fact “The Last Dictatorship in Europe” was. Is it possible to see the true face of Belarus? Does the dualistic nature of this country allow for separating facts from myths? The “By now” project shows how difficult it is to describe this country, even with images.
