Some place at time, which you never comprehend completely. It is something mysterious, undiscovered, unknown. Its name is FUTURE. There bound with it some awaitings, dreams or simply indifference and openness for, what the fate brings to you. Group exhibition of photography of artists united in Group of Deaf Artists was created under shared theme about FUTURE. Eight different views of so broad term, eight various ways of interpretation of reality, which surrounds us and combines with some element of insecurity of tomorrow.

Tomorrow, which follows, becomes a day of tomorrow – so key point, because “a shadow is not yet memento mori, but the place in many ways worse, because man has seen from him, that are not intact opportunities. That is, it is no longer present any announcement, a waiting room, an introduction, a trampoline of great hopes, because imperceptibly the situation turned….” and so “an alleged training was irrevocable reality; introduction – the right content; hopes – pipe dreams; optional, provisional, temporary, and sloppy – the only content life. None of this, which is not true, it certainly will not come true, and it is necessary  to deal with it in silence, without fear, and if possible -  without despair ” -  how was writing Stanisław Lem.

As long as you contemplate  IT, you think, that somewhere, sometime…

The origins of GAG should be searched in long-term open air art workshops for deaf artists organized from 1996 year in Poland. On the base of friendships, strong integration of deaf artists, after long time in year 2012 was created Deaf Artists’ Group (GAG). GAG unites around 45 members (from all sides of Poland) as well as amateurs and professionalists (students and graduated from high academies of beauty arts), for who art. Is very important element of their daily life. GAG occupies with painting, art photography, art and creative graphics, artistic design, visual art.
