Photowalks are weekend photographic excursions along quaint corners of Łódź, which have been taking place for several years now, as part of Fotofestwial. During the 13th edition of the festival we would like to invite you to two different walks.
The first one is called PHOTO DAY, and takes place in the area of MONOPOLIS, the former premises of Vodka Destillery at 4 Wydawnicza Street. It is a unique opportunity to visit and take photographs of the site which will soon lose it stark appearance and character. Admission to Photo Day is free, on presentation of the Fotofestiwal carnet.
The second walk is called POWER PHOTO DAY – Photowalk with Dalkia and EC1 Lodz – City of Culture. This year we offer you an opportunity to enter three unusual and normally inaccessible heat and power generating plants: EC1 at 1/3 Targowa Street, EC2 at 26 Wróblewskiego Street and EC4 at 5 Andrzejewskiej Street, where you will have a chance to admire extraordinary industrial architecture. Both walks are led by guides, who will provide you with information on each place you visit. It is truly worth taking that opportunity, as the plants – open for visitors on this particular day only – are rather ephemeral and keep changing. The number of visitors is limited, we therefore encourage you to register soon.

1. There is a limited number of visitors in each group.
2. In order to participate in Power Photo Day photowalks you needed to fill in the application form.
3. People who send off filled-in forms first, receive confirmation from the Organizer and purchase festival carnet will qualify to participate in Power Photo Day photowalks.
4. Carnets are available at the festival office during office opening hours (June 5: 5 pm – 10 pm; from June 6: 12 pm – 8 pm). 50% discount on carnets available with prior registration.
