NOOR is a photographic collective and foundation based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, combining the talents and perspectives of eleven photographers hailing from seven different countries. Its members are some of the most highly recognized and experienced photojournalists working today.
NOOR produces cutting edge, visually distinctive and up-to-date photographic and multimedia reportage on news and culture. NOOR’s images are published in the world’s top magazines, compiled as books, exhibited in art galleries and collected by museums.
NOOR seeks to contribute to a growing understanding of the world by producing independent in-depth visual reports that stimulate positive social change, impact views on human rights and other issues of global concern. NOOR facilitates group collaboration on photography projects. From concept to dissemination, NOOR takes each project to its widest possible audience.
The NOOR Foundation is an international non-profit organization managing the creation and distribution of compelling photojournalistic works with the objective of informing and raising awareness. NOOR caters different products and services to different markets to REACH audience, create IMPACT, and at times, to CONFRONT.
NOOR presents a compilation of the work realized by the photographers between 2010-2012.
