Elisabeth Woerndl was born in Salzburg and lives in Salzburg, Austria. She has studied at Glasgow School of Art, Fine Art Photography and has had awards and residencies in Rome, Arizona, Chicago, New York City and Mexico City, Luxemburg, London, Paris and other places. In her work she deals with issues of urban life and environment, memory, contemporary nomadic life, and notions of identity. Elisabeth Woerndl is a board member of Galerie Fotohof, Salzburg.
